Sheri has been on my mind daily for about a year now. Every day Carolyn and I watch a program called Heartland on TV. It’s a bout a beautiful family with beautiful daughters — they have horses and much of the show is around relationships with each other and horses. I had come to appreciate Sheri because that’s what I remember about her. Unassuming, beautiful friend who rode a horse, loved easily, and gently moved from moment to moment. As you can tell, I have my memories, but we have lost a friend and classmate. I’m very sorry for that. (P.S. I know there are horses in Heaven.)
