Obituary for Rosanne Halliday
Rosanne Halliday, 71, of Webster City died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Gina Sterk, officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Rosanne Laurabelle Halliday, daughter of Robert and Marian (Shutt) Halliday Sr., was born May 12, 1948 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1966. After graduation, Rosanne attended LaJames College and opened Rosie’s Beauty Nook. Before retiring, she had been employed with Kmart.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Halliday Jr. of Duncombe and several nieces, nephews, and extended family that she was very proud of.
Rosanne is preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Tony Halliday.
Rosie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed genealogy and spent numerous hours at the courthouse doing research. She proudly started Hamilton Courier and was a member of the Heritage Hunters, the Hamilton County historical society, Rebecka’s and had a love for country music.
