Obituary for Rosalee Wagner

Rosalee Wagner, 88, of Webster City formerly of Kamrar was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Private family graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Kamrar Lions Building. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Rosalee Wagner, daughter of Robert and Rose (Leemhuis) Whiteside, was born on July 16, 1934 in Aplington, Iowa. She was raised and graduated high school in Ketchikan, Alaska. On June 20, 1959 Rosalee was united in marriage to Leonard W. Wagner in Webster City. She was employed over the years at various businesses in Webster City and Hamilton County DHS.
Rosie was an avid animal lover her whole life, always having a faithful companion by her side and rescuing a variety of critters over the years. She enjoyed spending her time playing bingo, dominos, building puzzles and enjoyed scrabble. Rosie loved Jesus and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth. She took immense pride in loving all her children and grandchildren and putting a smile on the faces of everyone she came in contact with.
She is survived by Robert (Terry) Wagner of Mason City, Rick Wagner of Kamrar, David (Jody) Wagner of Williams, Sherry (Dwanyne) Anderson of Webster City, grandchildren, Samantha Trimble, Brock Wagner, Amelia Wagner, Heather Sayer, Nicole Young, Kaitlynn Hernandez, Jordan Wagner, Christin Wagner, Sheena Anderson, Tiffany Anderson, and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rosalee was preceded in death by her husband Leonard in 1995; son, Terry “Porter” Wagner and daughter-in-law, Julie Wagner.
