Obituary for Robert C Flaws

Robert C. Flaws, 88, of Webster City, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Van Diest Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 12:00 p.m. – 1:50 p.m.
Robert Charles Flaws, son of Alden and Leona (Ratcliff) Flaws, was born February 26, 1932 on a farm north of Webster City. He graduated from Lincoln High in 1950. Bob served in the Army National Guard from 1950-1956. He was united in marriage to Lavina "Dixie" Watts, and the couple later divorced. Bob then married Myrtle Frette, later divorcing. On May 21, 1965 Bob was united in marriage to Rosella (Miller) Sinn. He retired in 1994 after working 20 years as a truck driver for Winnebago Industries.
He is survived by his children, Robert Dean Flaws of Burnsville, MN, Dennis Flaws of Omaha, NE, Tami Flaws Pruismann of Webster City; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dean (Sharon) Flaws, Janet Gibeault, Steve (Vicky) Flaws; extended family, Jim (Judy) Sinn, Patty Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Rosella; his parents; a daughter in infancy; siblings, Janice Flaws Beem, Allen McIntire and Arlys Korieth.
He was a past member of the Moose, Otho Museum, and the American Legion Post #191.
