Obituary

Dick “Wormy” Golberg, 66, of Webster City formerly of Duncombe died Thursday, January 23, 2020 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center followed by a memorial prayer service at 6:00 p.m.
Richard Gerome Golberg, son of Eugene and Jean Jordan Golberg, was born July 5, 1953 in Rochester, MN. He graduated from St. Edmonds Catholic School in 1971. Dick was united in marriage to Glenda LaSourd on July 20, 1974 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Duncombe. He worked many years for Electrolux, retiring when they closed.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda; daughters, Carrie (Phil) Jessen, Katie Golberg both from Webster City; grandchildren, Brandon, Connor, Brady, Kenley and Carli; siblings, Terri (Rod) Brown of Des Moines, Jack (Barb) Golberg of Webster City, Will (Angie) Golberg of Des Moines; brothers-in-law, Mike (Diane) LaSourd of Webster City, Pat LaSourd of Duncombe and many nieces and nephews.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph Golberg.
Dick loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and watching them play sports. He also enjoyed playing golf, cards, cribbage and meticulously caring for his yard.

I use to work with (Wormy) at Frigidaire, he was funny. I just found out today of his passing. I had no idea he was sick. Glenda & family, I am so very sorry for your loss. He will be missed. My deepest condolences. Most Sincerely, Vicki McCollough
