Some of Jeanne’s hobbies were gardening and believe it or not she loved pulling weeds. She once told her doctor that pulling weeds was therapeutic for her. She also enjoyed going to Softball games and watching her Daughter, Granddaughters and Great-Granddaughter play. She could not wait for her Great-Grandson to start sports so she could enjoy his games as well.
Jeanne and Kenny enjoyed traveling across Europe and going on cruises with their friends Gil and Mary Carvallos. They enjoyed returning to Iowa to check out the farmland and visit with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her visits with her best friend Kay Mechaelsen, the Blairsburg ladies, and sisters-in-law Wilma Reinsel. Later in life, her and Kenny purchased a place in Arizona where they spent a few winters escaping to the warm weather.
