Obituary for Marian Raye Ermels
Marian Ermels, 85, of Webster City died on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. Burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.
Marian Raye PeCoy, daughter of Eldon and Valeria (Pierce) PeCoy was born March 11, 1934 in Pomeroy. She graduated from Algona high school. She was a beautician with her mother in Algona. On September 25, 1953 she married Bernard John Ermels in Algona.
She is survived by her husband, Bernie; sons, Marty (Kathy) Ermels of Urbandale and Ron Ermels of Webster City; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Don PeCoy.
Marian was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, a past member of Women of the Moose and the 10-pin bowling league. She enjoyed going to Stanhope for daily coffee with her friends.
