Obituary for June Boughton
June Boughton, 76, of Webster City died Friday, January 15, 2021 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. The family will be holding services later this summer. Foster Funeral & Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for the family.
June Kay Barr, daughter of Wayne and Evelyn Hammitt Barr, was born June 11, 1944 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City Schools in 1961. On August 19, 1962 she was united in marriage to Michael R. Boughton Sr. in Webster City. The couple later divorced. June worked for Webster City Custom Meats for 33 years.
She is survived by her children, Anne Hanus of St. Louis, MO, Michelle Fisher and Michael Boughton Jr both of Webster City; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Darold) McKenna of Hardy and brother, John (Vickie) Barr of Northfield, MN.
June is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Fisher; brother, James Barr and sister, Janet Barr.
She enjoyed cross stitching, making Christmas stockings and watching racing.
