Jolene McFarland, 54, of Webster City, died, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Services will be held at a later date.
Jolene Renae Eide, daughter of Leray and Phyllis Schutt Eide, was born April, 5 1965 in Webster City. She attended Webster City and Fort Dodge Schools. In 1985 she married Allan Long. The couple later divorced. She married Gary McFarland on May 11, 1991. The couple resided in Webster City. Jolene was a Home Health Care worker for many years and was currently working at Stratford Specialty Care.
Jolene is survived by her husband, Gary of Webster City; children; Renate (Jammie) Venegas, Kory Long and Christopher Long, all of Webster City; grandchildren, Serenity Long, Kaylin Long, Cody Anderson, Jasmine Garcia, Lila Venegas and Emma Venegas; step-grandchild, Audrey Venegas; brother, Russ Eide of Austin; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; son-in-infancy, David Long and a brother-in-infancy, Steven.
Jolene was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling, playing horseshoes, cards gams such as Solitaire and Flinch, making crafts and decorating for parties. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
