Obituary for Gary L Anderson
Gary “Dodge” Anderson, 72, of Webster City died Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Gary Lee Anderson, son of Willard and Donna (Jones) Anderson, was born April 29, 1949 in Iowa Falls. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1968. On May 9, 1998, he was united in marriage to Angie Donahe at Briggs Woods in Webster City. He worked for Electrolux for 14 years, before retiring.
He is survived by his daughter, Sierra Anderson of Alexandria, Virginia; son, Zach (Abby) Trent of Duncombe; sister, Karen (Steve) Morton of Webster City; half-brother, Howie (Cathy) Schulze of Cherokee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Duane and Aunt Charlene Rossow.
Gary loved to go golfing and play softball with Sierra. He enjoyed playing pool and basketball with Zach.
