Obituary for Dontae Joel Reyes

Dontae Reyes, 23, of Webster City died Friday, August 5, 2022, at Van Diest Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, at Anchor Point Church in Webster City with Pastor Patrick Wiedemeier officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for Dontae and his family.
Dontae Joel Reyes, son of Joel and Tera (Carr) Reyes, was born December 1, 1998, in Webster City. He graduated from Storm Lake High School in 2017. He had worked for Tyson Food in Storm Lake and various other places over the last few years.
He is survived by his mother, Tera (Robbie Goodner) Reyes of Webster City; father, Joel Reyes of Storm Lake; sisters, Dezirae (Tristan) Bainum of Cedar Falls, Dainelle Reyes of Iowa City, Dominique Reyes of Storm Lake, R.J. Goodner of Webster City; nephew, Echo Bainum; grandmothers, Roxanne Carr of Webster City, Rosa Hernandez of Storm Lake; step-grandfather, Dale Jones of Webster City; uncles, Eddie (Kayla) Hernandez, Charlie Hernandez, Peter Hernandez, Ernie Carr, Albert Carr Jr., Corey (Holly) Kretlow and many cousins and extended family and friends.
Dontae was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ciprian Hernandez and great-grandmother, Dorothy Tilger.
