Delores Hoversten, 88, of Webster City, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Windsor Manor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Faith United Methodist Church, with Pastor Peggy Ellingson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Delores Elaine Miller, daughter of Elmer and Ferne Mesecher Miller was born April 11, 1931 in Webster City. On January 24, 1954 she was united in marriage to Russell Arthur Hoversten at the Mulberry Center Church. Delores worked at First State Bank. The couple farmed in the Williams and Stonega area until they retired in 2005, when they moved to Webster City. When not farming, the couple enjoyed wintering in Texas, fishing, attending Bluegrass Festivals and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her sister, Delma McLaughlin of Webster City and many cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Russell on July 14, 2012 and her parents.
