Obituary for Dean L Harris
Dean Harris 79, of Webster City, IA passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2022.
Dean LeRoy Harris, son of Clyde and Wanda (Phipps) Harris, was born on October 6, 1942 and he had the pleasure of leaving an unforgettable mark on the lives of those around him ever since. Dean graduated from Boone High School and later united in marriage to Carol Ann Moore on June 7, 1964 in Volga, IA. Though the couple later divorced, Dean was still happily present within the lives of Carol and his children.
Dean’s job holdings consisted of working for the Iowa Department of Transportation and United Co-Op in Webster City. He also held positions as a Boone County employee and Standard Oil Independent Distributor.
He is survived by his brothers, Gary Harris and Dale (Janet) Harris both of Stratford, IA. His children, Joel (Beth) Harris of Portage, IN, Brian Harris of Wilson, AR, and DeAnn Harris of Elgin, IA along with five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Peters and brother, Neil Harris.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for Dean and his loved ones.
