Obituary for Daryl D Schossow
Dean Schossow Sr., 83, of Webster City formerly of Pomeroy, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A private family graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Pomeroy. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
Daryl Dean Schossow Sr., son of John and Thelma (Moad) Schossow, was born October 5, 1937 in Fonda. He attended school in Fonda. On January 17, 1982 Dean was united in marriage to Marie Jacobson in Pomeroy. He worked for Noble in Sac City assembling farm equipment. Dean moved to Webster City after Marie died, in 2011.
He is survived by his children, Daryl Dean (Jennifer) Schossow Jr of South Haven, MS, Matthew (Ruby) Schossow of Webster City, Marijane Lindstrom, of Webster City; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Dean is preceded in death by wife, Marie; his parents; son-in-law, Mike Lindstrom; siblings, Robert Schossow, Janice Anderson, Gerry Schossow and Beverly Schossow.
