Darwin Pruismann, 75, of Webster City died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. Burial will be at a later date in Cass Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
Darwin Willis Pruismann, son of Willis and Darlene Claude Pruismann, was born September 8, 1944 in Webster City. He attended Blairsburg schools. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1973. On September 5, 1964 Darwin was united in marriage to Shirley Kay Widmann. Over the years he worked at Arrow Acme, the State of Iowa, Luppes Transport (25 years), Iowa Tanklines (24 years) and Acord Transportation (3 years).
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley; their children, Todd (Sandy) Pruismann of Rochester, MN, Chad (Sherri) Pruismann of Lonsdale, MN, and Jamie (Missy) Pruismann of Webster City; grandchildren, Mason, Amanda, Jordan, Nick, Kamryn, Grace and Gabbie; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Cade and Calvin; and brothers, Bill (Marcia) Pruismann, Kendall (Rhonda) Pruismann, and Rick (Kelly) Pruismann all of Webster City.
Darwin is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Remington Pruismann and sister, Darla Fox.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #191.
