Obituary for Brittney A Bennett

Brittney Bennett, 28, of Webster City died Saturday, April 20, 2024. Sharing of Memories will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center in Webster City. Visitation will follow until 8:00 pm.
Brittney Anne Lawrence, daughter of Jeff and Wendy (Dilley) Lawrence, was born August 22, 1995 in Iowa Falls. She graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines in 2014. Following graduation she attended DMACC. On August 15, 2023, Britney was united in marriage to Lon Bennett in Webster City. Over the years she worked with many people and clients that she considered family at Mercer in Des Mones, Caseys, Windsor Manor, Hy-Vee, Southfield Wellness Community and McDonald’s.
She is survived by her husband, Lon; fur-baby, Luda; father, Jeff and Nancy Lawrence; foster parents, Brad and Kayla Winnike; biological mother, Laura Woods; father-in-law, Gene Bennett; grandparents, Richard and Janice “Opa and Oma” Schafer and Gary and Elaine Lawrence; siblings, Courtney, Jovonte, Garrett, Carson, Carter, Kennedy and Tyree Lawrence; Brody, Davis and Aidan Anders; Jenna, Hanna and Haley Winnike; sister-in-law, Laura Bennett; brother-in-law, Don Bennett; many foster siblings, friends and extended family members.
Brittney was preceded in death by her mother, Wendy Lawrence.
She found strength in her faith in God, the words of the Serenity prayer and the power of facing joys and challenges one day at a time. Brittney enjoyed coloring and drawing, cooking, LEGOS and meeting new people. She was a huge fan of tacos, peanut butter and hot sauce, and also known for always having candy.
