Obituary for Angie Duffy

Angie Duffy, 64, of Webster City died Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral.
Angela June Halder, daughter of Clair “Tom” and Lillian (Utley) Halder, was born July 12, 1957 in Spencer. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1975. On September 20, 1975 Angie was united in marriage to Martin J. Duffy Jr. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Webster City. Angie is remembered by those in the community for working at Kmart, Taslers Pallet, Caseys and HyVee.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marty; son, Troy (Sunshine) Duffy of Webster City; daughter, Tiffany (Jeremy) Carter of Blairsburg; grandchildren, Brayden, Trinity, Domanic, Brooklyn, Daytona; “bonus” grandchildren, Colton Plain, Carter Smith, Britney and Landen Philbrook; mother, Lillian (Kenneth) Cunningham of Webster City; mother-in-law, Geraldine Duffy of Indianola; brothers, Terry (Mary Jo) Halder of Tucson, AZ, Tom (Kimiko) Halder of Sun City, AZ; sister-in-law, Maureen (Jeff) Warford of Ankeny; brother-in-law, Steve (Jill) Duffy of Indianola and many extended family members.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, Clair “Tom” Halder; father-in-law, Martin Duffy Sr.; brothers-in-law, Mark Duffy and Kevin Duffy.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She enjoyed collecting angels, riding her bicycle, and walking. Most importantly, she loved time spent with her children and her grandchildren.
