| Prearrangements |
|
A pre-arrangement is no more than recording your wishes on a piece of paper, gathering personal information, gathering information legally required for burial or cremation, and making your personal choices and selections known to your family members. We will then keep this information on file at the Foster Funeral Home and Cremation Services facility. Having this information on file relieves many decisions and burdens from your surviving family members.
Pre-Arranging your funeral arrangements is the last love letter you can leave to your family. As long as life remains it is not too late to pre-arrange final services. There are many advantages to doing this and a few are listed below.
- You are able to make unhurried, logical and rational decisions. This saves your family the burden of having to make decisions under times of grief and stress.
- You will be assured that your family members will know what your wishes were.
- It will not be a financial burden on your family. If you wish, you may pre-fund your funeral costs by (1) depositing money at your bank into a funeral trust (2) utilizing an insurance funded burial agreement.
Each of the above options for pre-funding has benefits we will explain to you so you can make an informed choice and we will assist you in completing the required paperwork for either option.
