Dear Laneville Family...

I have many fond memories of being together at Doc and Aunt Ca's house in Iowa Falls. Boy, there was a bunch of us, wasn't there? Even though I was so young...I can vividly remember those Sunday dinners! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I wish we could've been there on Sunday and Monday. My folks said it was good to see everybody, sad though why everybody was together. May you all find some peace in the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother...she was a special lady.

My sincere sympathy to your family in the loss of your Mom. I was just reading the Le Mars paper on line and saw your Mom's name. My best remembrance is the picnics and going to Okoboji with the Woll's, Ortman's, Ahler's, Kennedy's etc. and I was having fun with Louise walking around, swimming and getting sunburnt. God Bless you all.

Dear Family of Catherine
I read about the loss of your loved in the paper and felt compelled to write. I know the pain and heartache your feeling as I lost my mother seven years age to a massive stroke. Even tho it's been seven years, it seems the pain of such a loss never goes away. Death really makes the heart ache. No wonder the Bible refers to it as an enemy! (1 Corinthians 15:26) We all find ourselves asking,"why do we have to suffer, get sick, grow old and eventually die?" Is that all three is to life? In answer to these questions, we are personally invited by our loving and compassionate Heavenly Father, to look to Him and His word the Bible. So, let's do that. Because of our inherited sin and imperfection thru Adam and Eve, we are plagued with sickness and death. This is found in the Bible book of Romans, the 5TH. Chapter and verse 12. But, God in His Almighty wisdom, made a way out of this doom and gloom for mankind. God wants life for us. A happy, healthy, eternal life. So, God made a provision. He sent His Son, Christ Jesus as a ransom sacrifice so that all those who put faith in that provision might enjoy Gods promise of everlasting life. This promise from God is found John 3:16 &36. Christ Jesus was willing to sacrifice His life for mankind. What love He and His Heavenly Father have for us!! Our God of mercy has even promised us a resurrection of our loved ones as shown in the Bible Book of John 5:28 &29. Yes, in this life, we do have much hope for the future. Revelation 21: 1-4 tells us that the time will come when we will no more fear death or endure pain. God will soon wipe these out forever. Then we will only have tears of joy as we welcome our loved back from deaths grip. I myself have found great comfort in this knowledge and I'm sure you do too. What a joy it will be to see our loved ones again!! May this bring you and your family peace and comfort in your time of grief. If you care to respond, I would love to hear from you.
God Bless,
Janet Mitchell

To the Laneville Family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. She was a delightful woman and a blessing to all who met her. Luke and Mary always thought a lot of Doc and Caty, and Brian has fond memories of the times that the famlies shared together. You are in our prayers during this sorrowful time. Dear Louise, Ed, Don and Pete,
Please know I am thinking and praying for you all. Aunt Ca was so sweet and kind. I am glad I have so many fond memories from the "Poodle skirt" she made me, to all the awesome meals she cooked; her "Special K bars." were the BEST!
I am so appreciative of the kindness and help she and Doc gave to my folks when they were ill. I know they are rejoicing to be together again! Love you all!
Your Cousin,
Pat
