She will deeply be missed! I have so many loving and caring memories with my grandma. She was a wonderful person. I will forever hold her in my heart. I love you, grandma. Love karla
I remember well visiting Harry and Lena in their Stratford home. Harold E.and I worked with Harry at Huisinga and Peterson Construction Harold one time said let's go visit Harry and maybe Lena will invite us for coffee and a snack. She did and what a treat, what a great memory of 50 years ago.. We always teased Harry about Lena's suitcase size lunches! I remember Harry telling me about his war bride several times. I learned a lot from Harry about life and carpentry. Harry and Lena are a classic American story and example for all who noticed. I sure noticed. Lena trained him well. My heart hurts for him with his loss.
